An anti-ageing skincare routine for normal to dry skin

If you have normal to dry skin, your daily skincare routine should focus on hydrating and nourishing your skin, and fighting the most common signs of ageing, such as fine lines, wrinkles, pigmentation and sagging.

This four-step daily skincare routine has been developed with normal to dry skin in mind. For the best results from your lips to your fingertips, add targeted products for the mouth and hands, and incorporate a hydrating masque once a week.

DAILY

Cleanser

For normal to dry skin, you want to use a cleanser that hydrates and moisturisers, without stripping the skin of its natural oils. Elixia’s Softening Cream Cleanser is enriched with aloe vera and vitamins C and E to deliver a dose of hydration as you clean. The cleanser’s powerful botanicals and antioxidants help to fight free radicals and reduce the premature signs of ageing.

Toner

After cleansing, apply a Balancing Hydrating Mist by adding a few drops to a cotton pad, and gently wiping over the face and neck. This organic formula gently tones and rebalances the skin, enhances natural radiance, and reduces the appearance of age spots and pigmentation.

Oil treatment

Combining a potent blend of age-defying oils, including olive, sunflower, rosehip, jojoba and argan, this Deep Oil Treatment reverses the signs of ageing and visibly reduces wrinkles, scars, stretch marks and blemishes. Gently massage into the face and body twice a day, paying particular attention to dry or wrinkle-prone areas.

Moisturiser

Anti-ageing moisturisers reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, smooth the complexion and promote a healthy glow. If you have sensitive skin, use a Soothing Relief Moisturiser that’s specially formulated with nourishing botanical oils, vitamins and antioxidants to revitalise dry, irritated skin. For normal and dry skin types, apply a Rejuvenating Moisturiser enriched with vitamins C and E, avocado and sunflower to nourish and protect the skin, and improve elasticity.

WEEKLY

Once or twice a week, treat yourself to a Brightening Hydrating Masque. Containing purifying kaolin clay, plus powerful natural antioxidants, this anti-ageing masque revives tired-looking skin and improves its tone and texture. After cleansing, apply in a thin layer, leave for five minutes to set, then remove with a wet cloth.

Lips

Protect your lips from wind, air-conditioning and the sun with an anti-ageing Lip Balm that contains nourishing shea butter, vitamin E and papaya. Apply as needed for smooth, supple lips.

Hands

Our hands are one of the first places to show our age, so help wind back the years by using a Soothing Hand Cream that rehydrates dry and damaged skin, improves elasticity and restores suppleness. Massage into your hands whenever they feel dry or damaged.
